Destined for Success will be collecting used shoes at the First Carolina State Bank Half Marathon, November 22, 2008, in Rocky Mount, NC.  Destined for Success collects used shoes that are recycled (cleaned up) and sent to Africa where they can be used for many more miles of walking and running.  There are several "used shoe" programs out there, and all are good causes.  It is better than letting them sit in our closets. There will be a donation spot set up at the Half Marathon to collect your old shoes.  If you do not see it, just ask at Packet Pickup.
